In Omagh Academy we wish to celebrate the achievements of our students. We celebrate their many victories in a vast range of topics, including academic subjects, music, sport and community life.

 

It is wonderful to see the commitment shown by our students and the pride that they take in their work and extra-curricular activities.

 

Some of the ways we publicly acknowledge pupil endeavours are:

• Congratulating pupils at weekly assemblies.

• Pupils receive ‘Achievement Points’ via SIMS and parents receive notifications via the Parent App.

• Merit trips at the end of the year.

• Social media posts – Website, Facebook and Instagram

• Noticeboard displays/Departmental noticeboards.

• Sharing announcements in the weekly Staff Bulletin

• Press releases [in our local & provincial newspapers]

• Prize Giving – the annual celebration which takes place in September.
