The ICT department runs an ICT Lunch-time computer club every Tuesday for year 8 pupils taken by A Level ICT students and overseen by Mrs Donnelly. The transition from primary school to grammar school can be daunting, and we aim to make the experience more enjoyable. The main objectives of the club are to encourage and give our pupils the opportunity to develop their skills, meet new friends and have some fun!

Currently the children are using Raspberry Pi’s and programming using scratch software. Competitions are held frequently and winners are rewarded with prizes.
