Congratulations to former pupil, Zara Hamill, whose stunning achievements in Science were recognised at the Hans Sloane Awards earlier this month. Zara was awarded second place in recognition of her combined A-Level exam results in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. She is now studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
The Hans Sloane (Memorial Fund) Trust, in partnership with National Museums NI, was established in 1960 to commemorate the life and work of the celebrated scientist. The awards recognise the achievements of outstanding scientists at A-level in Northern Ireland.
